On the 7th of March, Mr. Conlons’s sixth class entered a science exhibition in the RDS, Dublin. We submitted our project “How to solve a Rubik’s Cube?” to display our endeavors of the last four months in which we attempted to teach our classmates algorithms of solving a Rubik’s Cube. To our satisfaction, 21 of us were able to succesfully solve a Rubik’s Cube without referring to a guide. We displayed our progress in this field, and the steps we took to teach our classmates. We also talked about the mathematics behind the Cube. Fortunately, the judges were impressed and their feedback was great!
