6th Class visit Dáil Éireann

On Wednesday 6th December, 6th Class pupils took a trip to Dublin. We had a busy schedule making visits to Dáil Éireann, National Museum of Ireland – Archaeology, St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre and a stop in Supermac’s on our return journey. 6th Class really enjoyed the tour of Leinster House and got the opportunity to watch Leaders Questions. We observed members of the Government and the opposition debate a number of matters. Who knows, we may well have inspired a future Taoiseach or TD from 6th Class! A special word of thanks and appreciation to our local TD, Mr Robert Troy, for inviting us to Leinster House.
