Advice

Soon afterwards, he gave us lots of advice about what to do if we feel worried. He told us to tell someone we trust and then you will feel much better. He also gave us advice on how to start writing a book. He told us to have a few characters and their personality in mind and to have a theme.

Personal Life

Next, David Walliams told us a bit about when he was smaller. It was quite interesting. He told us about how he grew up in a suburb outside London and about how he loved to read when he was smaller. Then he told us about his personal life now. David Walliams has a son and 2 dogs. He showed us one of the dogs and it is a bolder terrier and it is 2 and a half years old.

After this interview with David Walliams, I think I’ve learned a lot of new things about him and his life. I think this interview was awesome!

An Interview with David Walliams

by Holly Broderick (5th Class)

Last Monday we went on a zoom call/interview with two ladies and David Walliams. He spoke about how he became interested in reading. David’s mother used to bring him to the library and once he got a book called “Charlie And The Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl. He loved the book so much that he just fell in love with Roald Dahl’s books.

During the interview, he read some of “Gangsta Granny” to us and he showed us his pet dog. He spoke about being a judge on BGT. He also said that he might even write a book about Simon Cowell.

At the end he gave some advice which was to follow your dreams.

I hope you enjoyed my report.
