Maths Week - It's more than just numbers!
St. Mary’s Primary School celebrates Maths Week annually with engaging activities in partnership with Maths Week Ireland. Students participate in puzzles, Maths games, interactive learning, Maths Trails and Maths Week TV.
A highlight is using “Maths Eyes” to find real-world Maths, leading to exciting Maths Trails around the school. Junior and senior classes pair up for activities, fostering collaboration. Students also practice “Maths Talk” and engage in Mathletics and daily quizzes.
It’s always a week of fun, hands-on experience that boosts confidence and enthusiasm for Maths, making learning both enjoyable and relevant for the pupils of St. Mary’s.
