As part of World Book Week, Ms. Smith organised a Book Swap for the children. They brought in books they were finished reading and happy to give away. In turn, they received a ticket which could be used to buy another book. It was a great success.
We also had Dr. Mary Helen Hensley, who is an author, in to visit us. She read stories to some of the classes and also inspired many of the children to write their own books.
