World Book Day 2025

St. Mary’s N.S. had a wonderful time celebrating World Book Day on the 6th March this year.

Each child received a book token to exchange for their very own book. Classes visited local shops to exchange their book token and each child purchased their very own free book!

Some classes enjoyed some exciting online Zoom events celebrating World Book Day. Other classes visited our local library to pick out some new exciting books. While other classes enjoyed a variety of in-class events and activities to celebrate the day.

Children dressed up as their favourite book characters and from the pictures you can see they all looked fantastic! Classes paired up and engaged in Reading Buddies, which everyone loved as we all got to enjoy others reading some of their favourite books to us.
