Intercultural Week 2025

St. Mary’s National School recently celebrated Intercultural Week from March 10th to 13th, offering students a vibrant exploration of diverse cultures. On Monday, parents visited classrooms to share insights about their heritage, enriching students’ understanding of global traditions. Tuesday featured a lively Show and Tell session, where students presented items representing their cultural backgrounds. Wednesday was a feast for the senses, as children donned traditional attire and shared homemade dishes, creating a tapestry of flavors and fashions. The week culminated on Thursday with a special Lá Glas concert, where Ms. Carty, Ms. Henshaw, and Mr. Warburton delivered a memorable performance, celebrating Irish culture and the unity within the school’s diverse community.
