Intercultural Week 2025
St. Mary’s Primary School recently celebrated Intercultural Week from March 10th to 13th, offering students a vibrant exploration of diverse cultures.
On Monday, parents visited classrooms to share insights about their heritage, enriching students’ understanding of global traditions.
Tuesday featured a lively Show and Tell session, where students presented items representing their cultural backgrounds.
Wednesday was a feast for the senses, as children donned traditional attire and shared homemade dishes, creating a tapestry of flavors and fashions.
The week culminated on Thursday with a special Lá Glas concert, where Ms. Carty, Ms. Henshaw, and Mr. Warburton delivered a memorable performance, celebrating Irish culture and the unity within the school’s diverse community.
We loved Intercultural Week!
As we wrapped up the week, we were buzzing with excitement and gratitude. Intercultural Week showed us that when we come together, magic happens.
We may be from different places, but we’re all part of one big, beautiful family here at St. Mary’s Primary School.
