St. Mary’s Primary School celebrates World Book Day each year with enthusiasm!
World Book Day in St. Mary’s features fun reading activities with classes pairing up to read to each other, book-themed games, special live Zoom events with authors, visiting our local library and taking a trip to our local book shops to purchase a free book with our World Book Day tokens.
Classes also design their classroom door in the theme of their favourite book. It is a wonderful way to foster a love for reading and inspire young minds to explore books. Each class visits our local library regularly throughout the year, we love delving into the world of books!
