‘Science in a Box’ is a 10 week activity based programme designed to enable us to take a journey through the diverse fields of science while exploring the history of the universe from the Big Bang to the formation of the Earth. We also learned about the beginnings of chemistry , the formation of atoms and ”molecules and Bonding”, through fun experiments. In the second half of the SIAB programme, we were introduced to physics in a fun series of activities which led on to us focusing on some of the fundamental forces such as Gravity, Electromagnetism, Spinning forces and the formation of the Earth. We would like to thank all the scientists from Alexion who gave up their time to come to our school to teach the SIAB programme and STEAM education for organising the programme. We certainly had fun learning and I know that you have inspired many of us to became scientist in the future . THANK YOU!! .
