St. Mary’s pupils were busy learning all about St. Brigid and the history associated with her. Pupils in a variety of classes got the opportunity to work with rushes and create their own St. Brigid’s Crosses. 6th Class pupils visited the Junior Classrooms with the finished crosses, explaining the story of St. Brigid and the process of making the crosses. The crosses were blessed at First Friday Mass on 2nd February.
