The Sixth Class Student Council arranged a book swap day on Friday the 10th of March. The event, to mark World Book Week, took place in the hall. Children from 2nd class to 6th class were asked to bring in old books in exchange for a token which they could use to get a new book. The books varied in genre from annuals, novels, puzzles and to activity books, comics and non fiction books.
The day was ran completely by the members of the sixth class student council and over 450 books were swapped. The day was a great success and a great opportunity to encourage children to read more books.
